Hostaria 100Celle Ristorante di Quartiere a Centocelle, nestled in the heart of Rome on Via delle Acacie, offers a true taste of authentic Roman cuisine that invites you to savor tradition with every bite. This charming neighborhood trattoria is a haven for lovers of classic, home-cooked dishes crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an evident passion for culinary heritage.
From the moment you step inside, the warm and informal atmosphere wraps around you like an old friend’s embrace. The ambiance is casual yet heartfelt, where the friendly, attentive staff provide genuine Roman hospitality, fostering a connection that echoes the “vecchio rapporto tra oste e commensale” described by loyal patrons.
The menu reads like a love letter to Rome’s rich culinary landscape. Start your meal with an enticing array of antipasti such as the Tagliere Misto, a generous mixed platter perfect for sharing, or indulge in the delicate fried perfection of Fiori di Zucca and the comforting Burrata e Alici. For something heartier, the Filetto di Baccalà is freshly battered to order, promising a crisp, flavorful bite.
The primi piatti truly steal the spotlight. Celebrated dishes like the Carbonara — hailed by visitors as the “best Carbonara pasta of our life” — showcase perfectly al dente pasta enveloped in a creamy, savory sauce rich with guanciale and Pecorino Romano. The Cacio e Pepe, another Roman classic, boasts a perfectly balanced harmony of sharp pecorino cheese and freshly cracked black pepper that lingers memorably on the palate. The Tagliatella fresca con carciofi teneri, the monthly special, delights with tender artichokes folded into fresh pasta, elevated by a nuanced touch of guanciale and a generous sprinkling of cheese.
For those looking to venture further into traditional flavors, dishes like Amatriciana, Gricia, and the rustic Pajata 100Celle offer comforting depth and boldness, each telling a story of Roman culinary evolution. Vegetables play a beautiful supporting role, with options like Gran misto di verdure and the fried vegetable medley providing fresh, vibrant contrasts.
What makes Hostaria 100Celle even more special is its dedication to honest pricing and portions that satisfy the most hearty appetites. Guests repeatedly praise the authenticity that resonates through every plate, describing it as a place where one can truly immerse in the essence of Roman neighborhood dining without pretense.
Even the critiques are framed constructively, highlighting the kitchen’s openness to refinement and a genuine desire to excel — a testament to their dedication to quality. Whether sitting down for a lively dinner with friends or a relaxed lunch featuring specialties like tripe alla romana or artichokes, Hostaria 100Celle promises an experience steeped in warmth, flavor, and honest conviviality.
For anyone yearning to connect with Roman culinary roots through dishes brimming with freshness, soul, and a touch of old-world charm, Hostaria 100Celle stands as a sincere, irresistible invitation. It’s more than a meal; it’s a moment to treasure in one of Rome’s beloved neighborhoods.

Delicious traditional Roman food at honest prices. Friendly staff. My husband and I went for lunch here today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the tripe (trippa alla romana) and the artichoke (carciofo). My husband had the tagliatelle with artichokes which were homemade and delicious.
